- Worzel check-up
Just a quick note to say Worzel’s PCV was 60 this afternoon, so looking good. Lymphocytes are at the top of normal range, same as the last few tests. The local vet is talking about stopping the azathioprine completely. I don’t want to. Ever. I have said before that this decision has not been made through pure logic, just a gut feeling of mine. 1 x 50mg azathioprine per week is where I want to stay. Worzel is really well, thank goodness, & I do not want to risk a relapse. They were also talking about re-starting VACCINATIONS at a later date! I have said NO WAY. I am happy that he is pretty well covered for the rest of his life, with the exception of piroplasmosis (babesia). I avoid him having contact with other dogs outside our household. I always value each & every one of your opinions and would like to hear what you think.
All my very best thoughts & wishes to everyone & their lovely babies
Sheena, Worzel & Ollie too
