Hi Linda,

  Matoca is my screen name that I use on the internet.

Just Patrice here…. I was testing the blog.

If you look on the upper right hand side you will see Giant Blogs: Patrice’s Blog. That will take you to my blog where you can look at several years of posts, videos and pictures of my dogs! On my page, you can see a picture of me at work.

If you watch the slideshow and the gallery on the right of the screen you will probably see a few photos of Cassie with either me or Mark as we model the Giant Rescue Gear for sale. There’s one cute picture of Mark and Cassie staring at each other and Mark has a goofy look on his face.

The picture of the puppy with the bandages on his ears is Chance when he was about 14 weeks old. It was his first day in our home.

To remind you, this is my Giant Rescue blog and I am testing out the forum here while I build the other site. That’s why you keep seeing pictures of Giant Schnauzers!

The surgery is called TTA tibial tuberosity advancement. It’s a way to change the geometry of the knee when the cruciate ligament is torn. It’s quite complex but very successful and can return a dog to full function after recovery

It’s going to take a while to get the whole thing functional. My dog Cassie just had knee surgery so I am trying to balance her care with this.

However, there should be some kind of google thing I can find. My main priority is getting the new website up and working. This is only a temporary place.

I am so glad that many of you are finding your way around inside here. Remember this is just a test page. Eventually the real website will be up and I will direct you where to go. For now, go ahead and play here to your heart’s content.

Try going back to the home page:

and make a new thread to see if you understand how to do that. This is actually what you will do when you come to the forum, just as you did when you went to vetnet, you first started by looking at all the threads. The top thread will always be the most recent thread. If you hover over the poster’s name on the thread you will see what time they posted.

Click on the Details cogwheel to see what kind of information is available to you. You can’t hurt anything by trying things.

Hi Lynn,
On the right side of this screen, near the top, it says Upload Photos. Below that it says Browse. When you click on that it will open your computer files and you must navigate to where you saved the photo you want to upload. (Make sure that you title the file so I know whose dog it is and the name of the dog!) Once you have picked a photo, click on Upload.

In a little bit I get an email that says I have received an image for approval. I will then login and approve it. Then I go into your post inside the moderator’s dashboard and I place it in your post.
