It is with heavy heart that I tell you that a member of the old AIHA Forum has passed away suddenly.Her dog Jacob was a 2003 sucess story.
I know our brave AIHA warriors will
meet her at the bridge.

I am so sorry to read this. Thank you for posting this for Teresa and Jacob. He died from age I’m assuming. If he was the 2003 success story, he lived 11 years beyond. That, in itself, is a success story. RIP Jacob and run the Rainbow’s Bridge.

I just went onto Meisha’s Hope to read Jacob’s Story. It seems he passed away on January of 2008. I am not sure why we are getting this post now, in September 2014. However, Jacob had great years after being diagnosed with AIHA his death was not related to AIHA. That in itself is another success story. This horrible disease CAN BE BEAT.

I am sorry I did not make myself clear it was Tereas Baita that passed. She was Jacobs human. And many from the old AIHA forum will remember. She will be greatly missed.

I am saddened to hear this awful news. I’m afraid I didn’t know Teresa personally, but my thoughts are with her family at this sad time.

Thank you very much for letting us know – she must have been a wonderful lady who obviously cared very much about dear Jacob.

Hello Cheryl, My blunder, not yours. I am sorry to have lost Teresa. It sounds as though she was very devoted to putting an end to this horrid disease, AIHA. We need all the help we can get and I am sure she helped many. This is very sad news indeed. Thank you for letting us know.

Teresa loved her Jacob and learned so much about the disease. She helped so many others that had beloved pets with same disease. She was an amazing daughter, wife, sibling, and was animal rescuer.
