- New Rescue – Nauset
Joe
Thank goodness you have her at home with you. You are such a kind person & this is just not fair. I am so sorry to hear she’s not doing so well – please let us know what’s happening when you can. Thinking of you & hoping Dr Dodds has something positive to say.
Best wishes always
Sheena & Worzel
I am so sorry Joe. I know you are in a whirlwind with what is happening right now with your new Nauset, but you came into Nauset’s life for a reason. You being with her, showing her love and giving her peace that she has most likely never had before. How unselfish and beautiful.
Please keep us posted. Loving thoughts, Linda
joe,
you are the best and will keep many good thoughts coming your way. you are doing the very best for this little girl… she is feeling love from your heart. love can do so much to heal. and ,dr. dodds is the best way to go you can do so much more than the shelter could ever give to nauset… your kind words and love and care and letting her feel she belongs to a family. my heart goes out to you and I wish the very best for your little girl and you. my best lynn & hayley
I have accumulated debt due to my beloved Dunes. I miss her so much.
Nauset has baby heartworms but tests negative for heartworms. Her heart is enlarged and she has fluid in her lungs. I told Dr. DODDS my choices and she agreed with my course. It. Is the best I can do and Dr. DODDS said God sent Nauset to me. Nauset is very sweet. She is eating more and is following me almost as much as my Dunes did. She is weak but very sweet and almost as devoted as Dunes.
Yoy friends are the best. We will hopee and pray for the best and I will do what I can. I was kind of really angry at God but since Jean Dodds said what she said, I can see his plan. Who else would take care of Nauset.
I love you, my friends.
Joe
I know you will do your very best & Nauset is with you for a good reason – because you love dogs so much. My heart goes out to you Joe & I admire you for trying to help another dog in need of special care. We are all behind you, every one of us, & I send you much love & very best wishes, dear friend.

Joe of course you were angry. Seems unbelievable that you are dealing with another sickness in such a young dog so soon.
Yes it just seems too big a plan to be a coincidence. Nauset needed someone with a kind and generous heart to love her and she found you.
My prayers for you and yours.
joe,
I am sorry to hear that nauset has baby heartworms can you treat her with doxy? a friend who adopted a little young boy fur child had heartworms and they treated him with doxcy and that was 3 years ago. not sure how it works but the vet at U.T. said that they have had good results as she told me better than the old way of treatment and easier on the fur baby. and buddy is doing very well and playful .that is something you might want to ask your vet because I am not sure only know what jean told me about buddy . I understand how you feel and I am as always saying prayers for all my dear friend’s here. you are the best dad ever. my best, lynn & hayley
