- Help and advice – Experience with Acute Respiratory Syndrom in AIHA dog
Hi Anne-Marie, I love the photos of Bilbo, he looks so good! He is just darling. And I’m so happy to hear how well he’s recovering.
Ashki’s platelets are on the high side too, and our specialist says it’s a side effect of the medication.
Ashki is getting stronger too, it’s so upsetting to see them so weak from the medication, thank goodness that improves as we wean!
Sending you and Bilbo hugs and love —
tamara and ashki xoxox
Thanks, Sheena and Tamara! I”m glad to hear that the rise in platelets apprears to be a normal side effect. I’ll keep you updated.
Bilbo has been especially loud and vocal for food today. I believe he wants me to pay for the short training session we do together with the new ramp!
Love and hugs to you all –
Anne-Marie xx
Hi Anne-Marie and Bilbo. This is all so wonderful to read – Bilbo – you’re a rock star!!! And Ann-Marie – you’re doing an awesome job. I wish every fur child on this earth had just 1/50th of your diligence when in need and a smidgen of your love. You and very handsome Bilbo should be very proud!!!! :)
Sadie’s platelets run higher too – when on high doses of the bad/wonderful meds. But as weaned, lowered. Yes, I think we all understand that when the news is the least bit positive, we walk around all day with a goofy grin. But Bilbo is doing more than “least bit” – he’s doing fantastic!! Yes, indeed. Huge grin, well deserved!
You’re both doing great – keep making your fur mommy smile Bilbo!!
Much love, Linda and Sadie
