Hi, Maggie is doing better than a few days ago. She still has the palsy in her face but definetly not as bad as before. It’s pretty hard to notice unless you know. Her rapid eye movement is completely gone, thank god ! She still has movements of unbalance but
overall so much better . I hope the antibiotics will completely cure all the symptoms. She is so happy now that we’ve arrived at our destination-eating bones & loving life! Thank you, thank you for the advice while on the road, it was a scary situation. Vally I would love if you could work up a med chart for us! There are so many meds and with two small children it’s hard to keep it all straight. I would be so very grateful!!!! I forgot to mention she is now also on the cephalaxin 3x day & high blood pressure med daily- seems the list continues to grow. Sending our best to all of you!!! I hope everyone is doing well;)
With much appreciation & love!!!
Jen & Maggie ( bone loving baby)
Jen, I’ve added my email in the Private Content underneath. Let me know if you can’t see it. You can email me “bone loving baby”s meds and the times you’re currently dosing. Actually if you list them here, everyone can double check them for interactions if you like, otherwise just send them to me and I’ll get it back to you.
Love Vally & Bingo
Hi Vally,

I really appreciate you offering to do this.
Hoping you and Bingo are doing well!!!
Hi Jen & Maggie
Glad you had a good trip & Maggie’s rapid eye movements are back to normal now. It’s always horrible if something happens when you are away from home & your usual vets, plus young children – wow, you’ve done a great job. It must have been the ear infection as the antibiotics have worked nicely. Poor girlie – it takes a while for their balance to get completely back to normal, but it sounds like she’s really improving day by day. Let us know how you’re getting on when you get time – when is Maggie’s next PCV/CBC?
Sending love & hugs,
Sheena, Worzel & Ollie xxxxx
Jen, sorry to hear about the death in your family.
I’ve sent you a chart, and then a revised chart and then a further revised chart, as Sheena has reminded me that Famotidine is better given 2 hours away from food, so I’ve moved that to 3pm. Also Aza should be given with food so I’ve put that at 5pm with the amiodipine at 6pm.
Bingo is doing great thanks. He decided he needed to visit the specialists a few weeks back and so stopped eating. He ended up staying in hospital for a night while they ran all sorts of tests. Happily used up my credit card with what now seems to have been a bout of gastro. He’s a bit “sensitive” and at about the same time, we had a little dog come running through the house and I think he was totally bamboozled by this strange dog in “his house”. He started to act very scared and was hiding a lot, I think expecting this “monster dog” (tiny little maltese) to get him. But 3 weeks later, things all seem pretty normal again.
Vally & I ain’t afraid.

Thank you for the condolences. It’s been a rough go but I’m trying to stay positive. Maggie seems to be feeling great so that is helping me keep a positive attitude. Vally, I chuckled at your description of Bingo hiding from this small canine invader!!! So happy to hear he is feeling better!!
I think Maggie misses sunny FL where she was spoiled by my mother constantly cooking for her and spending time with her half sister daisy. She’s back in New England with three feet of snow:( and does not like getting her paws cold or wet.
