Hi everyone a quick update, this is Louis’s blog for more details http://louismynewlife.blogspot.co.uk
So his paw is still swollen Stefano is trying to get more info from Liverpool about the skin biopsies.
Now for the good news, Louis’s PCV has gone up 6% to 28% 😆 and he’s put 1.5kg on. This is the highest PCV we’ve had since before Christmas.
We are all doing a little dance here. Xxxxxx
Yay!!!!! Everybody is dancing the happy dance along with you. Well done Louis. Thank you for the great news, Karyn.

Hi, just another quick update, Louis is doing really really well, his paws are healing lovely, his poo is back to normal, and he is currently making up for lost time in playing with Olga, she must be sick of his mithering lol
It’s so good to see him looking happy and well, granted he still looks like a patch work quilt, and his tail will probably end up being docked at some point soon, but that’s not a priority at the moment. Hos paw swells up a little and then goes down again, Stefano is looking into all possible reasons why this is happening, and until we know it’s nightly paw rubs for him, which he loves by the way.
He has mastered the “Oh look at meeee I need cuddles”face really well and we fall for it everytime lol.
When I think back to all the times when we questioned ourselves if we are going the right thing, I can safely say yes we did, and I tell everyone never give up, as long as there is hope never give up.
The nights we sat up with Louis willing him to get better, and praying with every bit of energy we had, feels like a lifetime ago.
I know we are not out of the woods, and there is a long way to go, and the worry will come back once the pred starts to be lowered, but we will cross that bridge when we come to it, we just won’t cross the rainbow bridge!
As always thanks for your support and I’ll update on Friday when he has been back for his weekly PCV check.
xxxxx
