- Dixie – Anemic – Low B-12
Hello Roger – I only just caught up with your post as I was away from my computer. I am SO sorry to hear that you lost Dixie. She sounds like she was a great character. You and your family tried so hard so save her; you did everything you can, but sometimes, these awful diseases win, despite everything we try to do.
I am so glad that you had Dixie in your life – and that you were in hers. It sounds like you have a great deal of love to offer.

I’m so deeply sorry, Roger. You fought so hard for her, and I know Dixie fought so hard for you and your wife. To lose a beloved pet leaves such a big hole in our lives, but to lose our heart dog – that is an even bigger loss. I am sending much love and big hugs to you and your wife.

Dear Roger
I am so very sorry to hear that Dixie lost her battle. Thank you for taking the time and trouble to let us know, which is a hard thing to do I know. You did all you could for her and I quite understand what you are saying about the special relationship you shared.
Much love and my sincere condolences to you and your wife.

Dear Roger,
please accept my condolences on the loss of Dixie. Of course you and your wife have broken hearts but I was glad to read it is getting better every day. You owe it to Dixie to remember her by her special personality and not by the awful disease that ended her life. Dixie will always hold a special place in your heart. I hope you don’t need to cry because it is over but you can smile because it happened.
With sympathy,
Brigitte
I don’t know if you check our forum these days – but if you do, I too am so very sorry for your sorrow in loosing Dixie. The tears flow – this disease grips. I continually remind myself – it’s quality of life. You and your family gave Dixie the best of you all, such a lucky girl – the best quality life ever.
Much love, Linda
