Bunny, these wonderful ladies helped me with Hayley who has IMHA… I too had never heard of this disease until my Hayley was hit with it. I am so glad you found this forum everyone really pulled me through this with my girl. I am so sorry your dear sweet girl was hit with this and her having diabetes too. yes they really do drink a lot of water… my girl panted so hard.. reducing the like vally said maybe due to diabetes… this I do not know but good to hear her PCV is at 39%. Wendi is a very pretty girl. These wonderful ladies will be such great support as we need this facing this disease…. they all were just the very best… and, I needed their support as we can feel so alone and so very helpless.my girl was7 years old when hit and is now 11 years old … my baby stayed in the low numbers for so long … some get there faster my baby did not . but now she is doing well and has been off meds for some time… some have to take low dose meds for life some do not.wishing the very best.
