Hi Vally
Good news that he can have some more B shots. I’m sure you already do, but if not, are you keeping a diary or chart of when he has these episodes? How are his gums healing up? And is he sleeping any better? No more strange men out and about? Please do be careful.
Sheena – I completely understand you paying out for peace of mind. Mable is blissfully unaware of my almighty credit card bill for her recent tests ;) But heck, it’s worth every penny isn’t it? It sounds as though Worzel’s bloods were all ok? Give those gorgeous boys a cuddle from me.
Linda – thank you for the heads up about PetTinic. I know Dr Dodds mentioned it with Molly, but I’d never thought to put Mable on it. I will look into it. Is it a general vitamin/mineral supplement? And do you know whether it contains a B complex? I’m one of the strange few who quite likes the smell of B vits, but Mable is a fusspot and might smell a rat!
Now Mr Bingo, no more 3am wake up calls for your Mum. The cat poo will still be there in the morning. Seriously though, I really hope these B shots do the trick as I am sure it is worrying.
Lots of love,
Mary and Marmite Mable x
Mary I like the smell too!!! Just yesterday I noticed they’ve finally made a low salt VEGEMITE which is heaps better than your marmite. Have you ever had mouth ulcers? Vegemite on mouth ulcers. I swear even grown men cry.
The pet tinic contains Iron, Copper, Thiamine, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamins B6 and B12.
With Bingo’s teeth (or loss thereof), no sign at all. I couldn’t even really see any holes, although he’s fed up with me looking. They were the teeth (on both sides) immediately behind the canines, I was surprised at how small they were. I was nervous of giving him anything hard the next day, but he insisted on eating his favourite piece of chicken, which is the wing tip. No problems with his mouth at all since. Gums look a lot better too, so great outcome.
