- Bingo protein in urine
Oh Klutz Linda, you poor thing. I hope you’re lots better now. What do they do with a broken finger? I was always jeolous of the girl next door who kept breaking her arm. I wanted a cast with messages all over it, and that was when they were plain white. Now you choose the colour of your cast!!!
I can imagine how badly bruised your pride was. Was anyone around? Did anyone film it and put it on Youtube so we can all laugh (I mean gasp). Sorry :)
The Total Protein in blood is different to that measured in urine Linda – I’ll pass on the explanation though. Protein Creatinine Ratio should be <0.2
I swear I’m going to take him in and leave him there every day. He comes back home and is in the best of moods. He’s like a puppy again, happy and playing and carrying on. Unfortunately that could be an expensive exercise at over $700 a day. Maybe I can just buy a cage, give him nothing to eat and lock him in it next door or something and have someone poke needles in him a few times. You listening Bingo???
I’m glad that they repeated everything again though because it took away the worry about his last Urea result as that came in normal this time, having been starved before being tested – and the vet down the road said that would make no difference – even I know that one now (still fell for it though).
Love Vally & Bingo
Vally, I’m so happy to read that all is well with Bingo, what a relief. I’ll bet Bingo is relieved too, no change in diet! The reason we came down so quickly in pred is because of this issue. Apparently cyclosporine affects kidney function in humans but they haven’t seen it in dogs (or at least no one has reported it) but we considered that as well.
Poor Linda, that is awful! Vally, I was like you, always wanted a cast too and the attention :) .
