- Aspirin has been stopped for Molly
Hi Everyone
Thank you all for your kind words of support.
Molly’s PCV has gone up to 28 which we’re delighted with :)
We’re sticking with the current meds balance of Aza & Pred.
Linda – Molly is taking Ranitidine currently however Sulfracrate is prescription only in the UK. I’m ordering slippery elm online today which should be here in a couple of days. We’re seeing the vet again on Tues so I’ll ask about the Sulfracrate then, see if they’ll prescribe.
Probably more of the same UK protocol restrictions but they have all of Sheena’s amazing research & are going to discuss next steps (inc the aspirin) next week.
We’ll be doing another round of full lab blood work on Tues & shld have results by Thurs.
Molly is doing so well, bless our beautiful, brave, strong Girl.
She barked for the first time since this happened yesterday & even got up to ‘answer’ the door – which is her usual, v important job :)
So, we’re moving on & up which is great. Long may it continue :)
I’ll let everyone know how things are after the next vet visit & blood report.
Much love & many (Molly) licks

Thanks Vally
When I went to the rescue centre Molly sat in front of me & refused to move…. it was instant love, love, love.
7 yrs on and we still can’t believe how lucky we are that she chose us :)

Hi Leza
I’m sorry I am late in welcoming you to the site, and that you are going through this with your (very beautiful) Molly. I’ve just been reading through the threads to see how she is getting on, and it looks as though she is doing really well!
I’m also in the UK, and my cat Molly had a rare form of IMHA in 2013. It is a tough journey but everyone here has been through it and understands how you might be feeling. It sounds like you have a great vet who is willing to explain things and talk things through with you, and from reading your posts I sense a quiet determination, which is wonderful! I’m really pleased to read you will be getting advice from Dr Dodds too.
Please give Molly some gentle ear rubs from us and tell to keep up the great work. I hope you continue to get good results on Tuesday. Please do keep us posted on the aspirin issue too.
All best wishes,
Mary and Mable x
Hi Leza
She is absolutely gorgeous & has the most beautiful penetrating eyes. No wonder you couldn’t resist her.
Keep getting better & better Molly – your Mum is amazing.
Love & hugs from us all
Sheena, Worzel (Phil picked him at the rescue centre, not knowing the vast expense he would incur – put on this earth to keep us poor – we love him so very much) & sweet soft Ollie xxxxx
