- Ashki – new thread
Hi Tamara
I love to hear he’s stable again – just what you needed to hear. More retics too – you wonderful boy, Ashki.
Hoping you both had a fantastic Christmas together & were spoilt rotten! Good luck next week – hoping for even better news next time.
Sending loads of love, hugs & Christmas wishes from us all

Hi Mary, I hope you and Mable had lovely Christmas too, and a happy New Year. Ashki is stable! We went for a PCV and it’s 26 — but the PCV has varied from the HCT by as much as 2 points so I’m just taking this as stability — which I’m very pleased about. I was worried as he has been pale and less active, though he’s still eating well. I did decide to discontinue the flagyl as the vet said that could be bothering his tummy and he seems to be feeling a bit better after that. We go back Weds for a CBC and I’m looking forward to seeing how his bone marrow is doing.
Sending you all much love and many hugs and the best wishes for the New Year.

Hi Tamara.
I’m so glad Ashki is holding his own and feeling pretty good. I hope he is continuing to keep an eye on the local cats! Have you noticed much difference since stopping the flagyl? Mable and I will be thinking of you tomorrow and hoping for good results. She’s yowling to go out at the moment but I keep telling her it’s too dark. Roll on spring!
Happy New Year
Mary and Mable x
Hi all —
Mary, Ashki is doing a very good job keeping an eye on the local cats and all the other neighborhood activity. He is feeling better, I’ve really noticed a difference in his activity level yesterday and this morning. His gums also look pinker to me :) and when I took him for his walk at the beach he really wanted to go swimming, I’ll upload a pic so you can see. I’ll let you know the results of the CBC tomorrow.
Much love —

Hi Tamara
Glad Ashki is feeling so perky & I hope you get some good news on the blood test front – sending you every possible good wish. Pink gums – lovely!!! Both my boys are crossing their paws & I am crossing everything humanly possible, but I won’t put a picture on here of that!
Love & hugs, Sheena & the biscuit guzzlers xxxx
Hi Tamara. You and Ashki have been so on my mind over the holidays. I am glad to read he’s holding. I know it’s like a shot of adrenalin when you get the good news. It’s always give/take a few points one way or the other with Sadie on her PCV’s – this group had to keep reassuring me – it’s okay. ;)
Looking forward to hearing his labs tomorrow. And I love that he wanted to go swimming (burrrr……).
Happy New Year! Sending our love and huge hugs,
Linda and Sadie
