Ohhhh, that PCV is so so good. He’s such a happy boy.

Bingo gets carried in, because he will NOT walk. At the local vets he’s shakes a lot more, sits on my lap the whole time with me stroking him. He eventually stops shaking and puts on the martyred look. At the specialists, he sits under the chair with the martyred look.

Good news from the latest bloodwork — no spherocytes, no evidence of hemolysis, and UPC SO much better. I’ll have the report tomorrow and will let you all know — remind me if I don’t, my brain is struggling with the stress of IMHA and perimenopause! EEEK!

hey Tamara,
menopause schmenopause! Anybody that can deal with AIHA is not phased by some silly hormonal imbalance in their own body:) I am so happy for Ashki’s great results. How wonderful he loves it at the vet. This should tell you something about the place, it is definitely a good and relaxed atmosphere since Ashki can be so happy there. Keep doing what you are doing, it is clearly working!

Hi Tamara
Ashki is clearly the happiest boy ever at the vets! Worzel is a shaking, panting, wobbly legged wimp who wants to sit on my lap or escape out the door. They have always been wonderful with him – I know that because I have been with him throughout all the procedures & he was pampered. Ashki is the sweetest soul & no wonder they love him too.

Good news today, Ashki’s UPC has dropped from 17 to 5!! While still very high, this is such a great improvement. Hard to say what led to the improvement, or if it was the combination of things that have been changed. I’ll be interested to see his thyroid panel in a month, as we did drop his soloxine down from .5 to .3 mg BID. Sheena, Ashki is the sweetest soul, he is just wonderful. I’m so blessed.
