- Ashki – new thread
I don’t know if they can tell, and I *think* but am not positive that the only way to tell is by his response to the removal — but yes, even though it’s benign it could still have been driving the IMHA because the body may still have produced antibodies against it. So these next weeks will tell us. We go tomorrow for CBC/chem and I hope urinary protein/creatinine, though I just got his bloodwork from last week and his protein and albumin are coming back up so that’s a very good sign!
very relieved tamara and sweet ashki xoxoxo
OMG all such fantastic news!!! Mr Ashki is doing brilliantly and as are you, mom!
Xoxo hope and steve
Vally, I was too. And it was such a long wait. Thank you.
Love, Tamara and Ashki
Hi Tamara
I’m really pleased to read the great “benign” news – what a huge weight off your mind. I can’t tell you how happy I am for you – we are doing a happy dance for you here in France! Blood work sounds better too – good luck with the CBC & urine test – Tamara, you are doing an amazing job – hugs to you & dear brave Ashki
Loads of love Sheena, Worzel & Ollie xxx
Thank you all! I am so very relieved. And more good news, Ashki is having a great week — PCV of 30 today!!!! Waiting for the CBC/chem/UPC, I should have tomorrow. Ashki is just amazing, pulls when we get to the vet and is so happy to see his nurses, jumps all over them (even though he’s not supposed to!) and gives them many many kisses. It is such a relief to see him more and more back to himself.
many hugs and much love —

should have been more clear about Ash pulling when we get to the vet — he pulls to go IN to the office, not to get AWAY lol. :)
