Hi Wendy
What a story – Frankenstein makes sense now. Poor Frank a had a rough start – no wonder you had to adopt him. How could you not? I can tell you & your boyfriend have hearts of gold. What is your sweet Rottweiler’s name, by the way? Our “other” dogs get a bit left out sometimes – poor Ollie was such a little darling when Worzel was really ill – he knew his friend felt terrible & stayed very quiet.
How are things today? I wonder if Frank’s health history has a bearing on what’s happened – maybe his illness made his immune system a bit prone to this disease. I don’t know for sure obviously, but I would guess it certainly hasn’t helped at all.

My other dogs name is Brandy. We also call her “Mama Bear”, “Bear”, “Brandylee”, etc. Our baby girl does feel left out this past week. Yesterday, while my boyfriend was with Frank and spent some one on one time with her. She knows something is different in the house.
As for Frank…he is doing better. He seems much perkier. He moves around the house a lot and during work he kept walking back and forth until he found a spot around the office that he would plop over and take his nap. Frank’s appetite is also very good and he has been drinking a lot of water lately too, which I attribute to the pred.
We also heard back from Labrador Harbor and they want us to send them an estimate of how much his treatment would cost. They will try to help us out, but I am not sure how much they are willing to help out.
There has been so much going on that I am barely keeping my head wrapped around things.
Oh, Frank has another appointment today at 9:15am (California Time). I hope to hear good news about his blood going up and that he is doing better. I’ll keep everyone updated on what happens.
With much love,
Wendy and Frank
I could scream this!!! Frank went up to 22%. He was 14% not two days ago. I have changed his diet and have kept up with his medication and just making sure that he is doing what he is suppose to be doing. I can’t believe it. My baby boy is fighting the good fight. Thank you all for your wealth of knowledge.
Wendy – this is the best news ever!!!! You’re doing a fantastic job!!! I know you do want to scream – NOW you can AND celebrate!!! Frank IS a fighter and so are you and your boyfriend. Keep up the awesome, great, fantastic, incredible job of getting Frsnk on his way to wellness!
Doing the happy dance (as our lovely Lynn sayes) for you all, Brandy included!!!
Love and congratulations hugs, Linda and Sadie
Wendy, you scream on girl, that is really a reason to celebrate. With 22 Frank is definitely out of the immediate danger zone! I certainly don’t want to rain on your parade but do you remember what I said about the marathon? But now you are well on the way, you dig in your heels and prove to all the people that said it would not work, that they were wrong. You did everything right and your dedication and commitment will get Frank better every day. He is a young and strong boy!
Congratulations and best wishes,
Brigitte
Thank you. We still have a long way to go, I am just so happy that we have won this small battle. We still have several more appointments to go, but I am happy to see that there has been progress in the last two days. :) Day by day.
GO FRANK!! Wendy you have done such an amazing job helping Frank through this. I am so happy to hear the 22% – that is just fantastic.
Can you hear us screaming yeeehaw from France? I hope so! We are all just over the moon to hear about Frank’s improvement. No wonder you thought he was feeling more perky.
Wendy, you are the best – so is Frank – and his lovely friend Mama Bear. Here’s to going up …. up & up from now on. Wonderful.
