- Bingo’s agility
Not sure if this will work.
Okay my videos aren’t any where near as good as Patrice’s.
Auntie Brigitte, do you think he could be on a podium?
I’ve done this to get his lazy back legs working a bit better.
Love Vally & the Star
Aww Vally, I just LOVE this! You know my dogs are doing agility and this is actually something I do in the winter when it does not want to stop raining. I think it is a wonderful trick/exercise to keep their body and mind in shape. To be on the podium you have to get a bit more speed into the situation, but I can clearly tell he loves it! Put him in a sit stay and the biscuit at the other end of the ladder, letting him know it is there. Give him a happy ok or go or whatever release you want, I bet you he will race over those bars. make sure if he cheats and jumps 2 at a time or breaks the stay to remove the treat:)
have fun playing!
Brigitte
Well he refuses to do the pole dancing any more, just gives me a terrified look when I set it up. All because my agility wasn’t as good as his, and I knocked the poles over after it was set up and it made a horrendous noise with all the drink cans crashing everywhere.
I took Bingo to a physiotherapist again because I was worried about his pathetically wimpy back legs, which are getting worse and worse and his knee is always popping out of the joint. She corrected the way I was doing 3 legged stands and also suggested setting up a ramp and making him walk up and down it to work his back legs and also his core muscles, when going down the ramp. Anyway, I’ll try and up load the latest video…
Again, excuse the lousy filming – it’s as good as my agility :)
Hi Vally,
What a sweet boy Bingo is. Made me smile. Glad he has beaten this AIHA. I keep coming to this site where lovers of dogs are. Makes me feel I am among friends.
Weirdly a stray mother cat and 2 kittens have appeared in my back yard. My daughter is seriously allergic to cats but I have been feeding them and may call a cat-loving friend to help find them their home. I may put up some signs.
I miss Sunny so much but it does help to just “see’success stories.
_your friend,
Maura
