I have been in contact with Anne recently. She told me she went to visit her aunt and while there “I went to visit a Humane Society in the area, and found a new dog for us!”
She says: “They think the boy I brought home is a foxhound. He is about 2 and a half. His name is Arlo. He can run like the wind, is a really sweet boy and adjusting really well.”
What a lovely boy! I admire everybody taking on a hound, they are not easy to train. That is possibly the reason why Arlo ended up in the shelter. LOTS of positive reinforcement and never a punishment when they come to you! LOTS of exercise for bot Arlo and Anne:) I know Anne will do well with Arlo, she has a good heart and he will be a happy boy!
