Merry Christmas everyone!

Mable has been busy attacking ribbons and removing bows from all the gifts under the tree, so she had her present on Christmas Eve. She got a new toy bird which looks horribly real and squeaks when she moves it. She’s completely in love with it. It’s driving me crazy ;) Fortunately she has grown out of her old habit of removing all the baubles from the tree and hiding them behind the sofa….

Willie visited the nursing home this morning. They were under a severe flu restriction so I only visited one wing of patients. The folks that he did visit had not seen family all day. And the staff were all very happy to visit with him too!

Here is a somewhat blurry photo with one of the staff, it’s the best I can get when I am in there while handling him. Note the Santa collar with bells. In my little neck badge I was carrying my cell phone playing Christmas music.

Lovely to see Willie in his special Christmas collar! I’ll bet it made the patients’ Christmas to see him xx
